We are a team of innovative deep-tech engineers with big ambitions. Our goal is to build large data centers in space that are much more rapidly scalable and cost competitive than terrestrial data centers.
Adi was previously a Principal Software Engineer at SpaceX where he was the responsible engineer in charge of 'tracking beams', which enables Starlink for other spacecraft, including Starship. Before that, he spent 20 years as a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft working on large production GPU clusters, and inventing more than 25 unique patents. Adi holds degrees in Computer Science from University of Bucharest and Chemistry from University "Politehnica" of Bucharest.
Bailey spent four years as a mechanical engineer at SpaceX working on the design for the Raptor and Merlin engines and before that, interned at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. After SpaceX, Bailey was a senior mechanical engineer at Helion Energy where he was the program lead and head designer of the arc fusion crucible program. Bailey earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
Cristian spent 16 years at Microsoft, most recently as a Principal Software Engineer at Azure doing silicon and cloud hardware infrastructure engineering. Cristian previously wrote software for the HuskySat-1 satellite and taught Embedded and Real-time Systems at University of Washington for 3 years. He has a BSc in CS from The Politehnica University of Bucharest and an MS in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Washington.
Dylan spent four years at SpaceX where he was most recently a mechanical engineer at Starlink, responsible for designing, building, and testing various hardware elements. Before that he was a manufacturing engineer, responsible for designing the manufacturing process for SpaceX's Dragon 2 human space flight crew capsule. Dylan earned his BS in Polymer Materials Engineering from the Western Washington University.
Ezra has a decade of experience with satellite design, specializing in deployable solar arrays and large deployable structures. Ezra comes from Airbus Defense & Space (SSTL) and Oxford Space Systems, where he worked on many missions, including NASA's Lunar Pathfinder. Ezra has a PhD in Materials Engineering from Imperial College London.
Juan was previously the thermal engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, responsible for the thermal hardware on the recent Europa Clipper Jupiter moon probe. Juan also designed the thermal management system for a lunar lander and was previously a Senior Thermal Engineer at Raytheon, working on liquid cooling systems for space applications. Juan earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University - SLO.
Miguel was previously a Senior Fusion Technician at Helion Energy, where he led the welding and fabrication department. Prior to that, he has 8 years of experience in various high-tech welding and fabrication roles. Before that, Miguel spent a decade in the US Army's 101st Airborne Division, where he deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Philip is a second-time founder who previously spent time at McKinsey & Co. working on satellite projects for national space agencies. Philip has an MPA in National Security & Technology from Harvard University, an MBA from Wharton, an MA in Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics from Columbia University, and is a CFA Charter holder.
Stephen previously spent 11 years at Microsoft most recently at Azure as a senior software engineer working on firmware for GPUs, and before that an Electrical Engineer in the devices division. Stephen also designed and built the hardware and software for a high altitude ballon equipped with GPUs for edge processing to detect wild fires. Stephen earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue university.
Yaseem has spent the past four years at various aerospace companies. Yaseem was a functional test engineer at Astra, working on the design of test systems for rocket sensors & hall thrust computers.
